“Worship on the Square” is the combined efforts of various churches in the chosen community for the purpose of pursuing Christian unity. Volunteers, staff, and churchgoers converge on the neighborhood square/park to demonstrate the love of God in a visible way as the vision of the event is presented to society…
WHO: “Worship on the Square” will not highlight one church or organization over another; rather it seeks to unite churches under the common bond of Jesus Christ. In other words… who is YOU.
WHAT: The free event is a time to come together and make God known in the heart of a city/square. Taking the time as believers to “show God off” and focus on who He truly is that we worship. We want to join the Body of Christ within the communities and encourage those serving within their communities to live as “living sacrifices” for the sake of Christ. Comprised of prayer and scripture reading for the community, interspersed with uplifting music; this is our call to honor the Risen Lord. Numerous charitable organizations will be represented and attendees will have opportunity to learn more about volunteer opportunities within the community, nation, and globe.

WHY: This act shows others that although we have many denominations and doctrinal differences, it is Christ that is our common bond. This is a great outreach opportunity, and an encouragement for the Body of Christ to see everyone join forces for ONE cause.
